Affiliate disclosure

Last updated September 13, 2026.

The short version: BreedVerified has one active affiliate relationship, with Neakasa. Specific product recommendations on breed pages link to Neakasa's pet-care products and earn us a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Every other external link on this site, to the AKC, CFA, AVMA, ASPCA, or a peer-reviewed study, is there purely to cite a source, and we earn nothing from any of them.

Neakasa: our one active affiliate relationship

Three products currently appear as "Recommended products" on this site: the Neakasa P1 Pro pet grooming vacuum and the Neakasa Riko wet meal feeder, each shown on specific breed pages tied to a documented care need for that breed, and the Neakasa M1 Plus self-cleaning litter box, shown on the cat breeds index page as a general pick. Each one is labeled "Affiliate link" directly on its own card, with rel="sponsored" on the link itself, not only here. No other product, platform, or service on this site is part of an affiliate program.

Separately, the only other planned source of revenue is our own ebooks, sold directly through Gumroad from the Shop page. That is a direct sale of our own product, not an affiliate or referral arrangement: Gumroad is the platform we use to sell what we wrote, not a company we are recommending for a commission.

Systeme.io is not an affiliate partner

The free guide sign-up form on this site is powered by Systeme.io, which acts as our email service provider (see the privacy policy). We pay Systeme.io for that service; we do not earn anything from it, and it is not an affiliate relationship.

If this changes further

If BreedVerified adds another affiliate relationship beyond Neakasa, this page will name the new platform and exactly which links carry a commission, updated at the same time those links go live.
